I'm Michael Saldivar, a Fresno Unified graduate with a math degree from MIT, and a published AI researcher. I help schools and local businesses put AI to work on real tasks, safely: hands-on staff training, board-ready AI policy, and small fixed-price automation projects.

My research is on when AI output can be trusted, and how to catch it when it can't.

Every engagement is a fixed written quote before work begins. If the scope grows, the quote is revised in writing first.

Training and consulting services of this kind may be procured without competitive bidding as professional services under California Government Code §53060, and are an eligible use of federal Title II-A professional-development funds under U.S. Department of Education guidance (July 2025).

Qualifications

First author of arXiv:2607.01223, published research on verifying AI reasoning, including detecting fabricated citations and unsupported claims in AI output.
B.S. in Mathematics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Built and operated production data and automation systems in industry, including bidding algorithms and data pipelines for a Cambridge, MA insurance-technology company.
Born and raised in Fresno, and a graduate of Fresno Unified schools; on-site anywhere in the Central Valley.
